Floral tribute to Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw

Floral tributes in accordance with the military's customs were paid to India's first Field Marshal in Ooty on Friday. The legendary 94 year old Sam Manekshaw passed away on Thursday night at the Military hospital in Wellington. The body of the legendary field marshal was brought to Madras Regiment Centre where it was kept for two hours for the public to pay homage.
