GoM meet to discuss affidavit that seeks CBI's autonomy

The Group of Ministers (GoM) met in New Delhi on Thursday to discuss an affidavit that they have to submit in the Supreme Court on the matter of giving autonomy to the CBI. Nominally the CBI is independent. But administrative control is with the Department of Personnel and Training, which falls under the prime minister's office.
