Govt approves AirAsia's tie-up with Tata group

Air Asia's proposal to set up a joint venture for running a passenger airline with the Tata Group has been approved by India's Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB). Talking to reporters on Tuesday aviation minister Ajit Singh said that there were procedural problems with AirAsia, however they would be taken care of.
