Govt & CAG are complimentary to each other: Chidambaram

Union finance minister, P Chidambaram on Tuesday said that the government and apex audit body the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) are not opponents; instead they are complementary to each other. Addressing an auditor's conference in New Delhi, he laid emphasis on CAG's objective to provide an unbiased financial audit report, which later would help government in policy formulations.
