Govt will be able to contain Maoist menace: Chidambaram

While addressing a function to mark the release of a book at New Delhi on Tuesday India's Home Minister P Chidambaram said that the government is apprised of the Maoist menace and it is within control. Chidambaram however dispelled the use of military to check the rebels as done by Sri Lanka to deal with the LTTE.
