Hansraj assures action against Yeddy after submission of report

Karnataka Governor Hansraj Bhardwaj on Sunday assured a delegation of the Congress party that he would take action against state chief B. S. Yeddyurappa, who has been implicated in illegal mining, once the report is submitted. G Parameshwar, president, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), said that they submitted a memorandum to the Governor highlighting three main issues - phone tapping of Lokayukta Santosh Hegde, attempt by the minister to influence the Lokayukta to drop the chief minister's name from the final report and leakage of report to the media.
