Increase CDR to 40% by FY 14-end: RBI to J&K banks

Reserve Bank of India on Thursday asked the banks in Jammu and Kashmir to increase the Credit-Deposit Ratio (CDR) to 40 per cent from present 36 per cent by the end of current financial year.
