India celebrates its 62nd Republic Day

India displayed its military skills and rich and diverse cultural heritage at the Republic Day parade on Wednesday marking the 62nd anniversary celebrations of becoming the republic,amidst tight security.This year,Indonesian President Susilo Bamgbang Yudhoyono is the chief guest for the Republic Day celebrations, hosted by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Devisingh Patil in New Delhi.
