On the opening day of the WEF's annual India economic summit in New Delhi, the Indian Finance Minister P Chidambaram called India and China the drivers of world growth. The theme for this year's summit is India: Building Centres of Excellence. Some 700 business, political and civil society leaders from 36 countries will be participating in the three-day summit.
