India issues terror alert over hijack threat

In the wake of intelligence reports citing threat from Pakistan based militant outfits, Indian government has issued hijack alert to its airlines. State run Indian Airlines and Air India have been advised by the government authorities to be on guard, as intelligence inputs suggest probable hijack attempt by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and other militant outfits.
