India, Japan set to chart out roadmap for strategic ties

India and Japan will prepare a roadmap for imparting stronger political, economic and strategic dimensions to bilateral ties serving long term interests of both sides in Tokyo on Thursday when the foreign ministers of the two major Asian powers hold their first-ever strategic dialogue. External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee, who will arrive in Tokyo today, will hold the first round of strategic dialogue with his Japanese counterpart Taro Aso.
