India releases 28 Pakistan prisoners

India released 28 Pakistan nationals on Friday as they completed their jail term. The prisoners, released on the recommendations of Pakistan-India Judicial Committee on Prisoners, crossed over from the Wagah check post in Punjab. The Pakistan-India Judicial Committee on Prisoners was formed in January 2007 to facilitate release of prisoners languishing in jails in either country.
