India, US begin talks on nuclear deal

India and the United States on Thursday held high-level nuclear talks ahead of a meeting between their top political leadership in Germany next month. This crucial meeting focuses on a proposed agreement to operationalise the civilian nuclear deal with Washington saying that the two sides were almost there and little more effort was needed to be put in to conclude the pact.
