Indian Prez leaves for China to strengthen strategic partnership

The Indian President Pratibha Devisingh Patil today left for a state visit to the People's Republic of China. She will be in China from 26th to 31st May. Several members of Indian Parliament, senior officials, besides a business delegation are accompanying the President. The visit is one of the first by an Indian Head of State to China in a decade and one of the top priorities for the Indian Foreign Ministry is to develop a stronger relationship with China.
