Italians’ abduction shows NCTC is required: PM

In the backdrop of the abduction of two Italian tourists by Maoists in Odisha, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday pressed on the need to set up the National Counter-Terrorism Centre (NCTC) to tackle extremism.
