Jharkhand polls in five phases from 27 November

India's Election Commission on Friday announced a five-phased provincial election schedule for the Maoist-infested Jharkhand state. The poling will be held from November 27 to December 18 and ballots counted on December 23. Jharkhand is one of the six states badly affected by Maoist rebellion in India.
