Lawmakers oppose women reservation bill in Lok Sabha

Lower house of the Indian parliament Lok Sabha today witnessed stormy scenes with many lawmakers opposing the women reservation bill.Lawmakers of regional Samajwadi Party (SP) and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) stormed into the well of the house to register their opposition of the bill in its present form.The parties have been demanding amendments in the bill to include reservation for Muslim,low caste and backward class women as well.
