Lokpal Bill essential to protect whistleblower’s lives: Manish Sisodia

Responding to reports of the death of Deputy Director of Cooperative Audit Department, SP Mahantesh, Anna Hazare's aide Manish Sisodia has said that it is essential that the Lokpal and Lokayukta institutions be established and empowered in order to protect whistleblowers. Five days after he was allegedly attacked, the senior Karnataka officer succumbed to his injuries on Sunday, following a cardiac arrest.
