Malkangiri: Police arrest two Maoists

In a major breakthrough, police in Odisha arrested two Maoists on Tuesday accused of being involved in an ambush attack and killing more than 20 people, including leaders of Congress party in Chhatisgarh. The two Maoists - identified as Kasa Madhi and Ura Madi were arrested from Katmateru village forest in Malkangiri district of Odisha during combing operations by district voluntary force (DVF). Maoists killed over 20 people in Chhattisgarh, last month when they ambushed a convoy carrying regional leaders from the Congress party in dense forest in one of the deadliest such attacks in recent years.
