Mamata Banerjee slams media for magnifying rape cases

West Bengal chief minister Mamata slamed media, especially electronic news channels, for tailoring the news items and disseminating canards in a bid to exaggerate rape incidents to malign her government. She further alleged that news items were being tailored to serve business interests.
