Mamta announces committee for political prisoners' cases

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday announced the formation of a committee to look into the cases of political prisoners. The Chief Minister, while making the announcing, said that the state had many pending cases of people who had been arrested in the context of a political movement. Bannerjee added the commission's report will come within three months.
