Maoists arrested in WB, arms seized

Four hardcore Maoists were arrested in a well-coordinated operation by the West Bengal police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the rebel-infested Paschimi Medinipur district of the state. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition in their possession, which was looted from the camp of the Eastern Frontier Rifles, was also seized. Earlier, during a routine patrol near Jhargram, security personnel chanced to spot three landmines.
