Maoists free engineer, collector's release awaited

The ongoing talks between the Orissa government and the Maoists over the abduction of state officials met with success on Wednesday after the ultras released junior engineer Pabitra Majhi Maoists released him near the Ambadoli village of Chitrakonda, from where two officials drove him to safety. Another official Malkangiri District Collector R V Krishna is yet to return.
