Maoists kill two in Bengal, shutdown five states

The Communist Party of India (Maoist) has called for a two-day shutdown in five states - West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh - from Monday to demand the release of its arrested cadres in Bihar. Anil and Kartick were arrested by Bihar Police while they were in a train that was headed toward Patna. Police officials said they are geared to tackle any untoward incident during the shutdown.
