Maoists torch vehicles to oppose anti-encroachment drive

As a mark of protest against the anti-encroachment drive displacing hundreds of poor families in Ranchi, Maoists torched nine tractors at a community project site in Palamu region on Monday. Narrating the incident, Sohan Kumar, a labourer said over 20 armed Maoists in black uniforms came and torched the tractors.
