Maran saddened by DMK accusations

Union Minister for Communications and IT Dayanidhi Maran, who resigned from the Union cabinet on Sunday, today said that he was saddened by accusations of anti-party activities on him. After a crucial DMK meeting on Sunday, the party's Administrative Committee had decided to issue a showcause notice to Maran.The reasons being attributed to Maran's fallout with the DMK are his absence from the formal function to celebrate 50 years of Karunanidhi as an MLA.
