Mass marriage in Chhattisgarh

In bid to curb wedding expenditure and aide poor sections the Chhattisgarh state government conducted mass marriage of 2100 couples in Raipur. The state government bore the expenses of the mass wedding organised to help people from the impoverished strata. Organised under a giant tent, wedding of couples decked in traditional attires were conducted amongst a fleet of government officials.
