The massive fire in a section of a warehouse that had left four fire personnel and a policeman injured in the busy Chandni Chowk area of national capital New Delhi continued to rage on Monday. Evidently, the fire broke out on Sunday evening in the godown of a plastic factory following a suspected short circuit. As many as 30 fire tenders have been pressed into service, however, fire fighters are having a tough time to control the fire because the area has narrow lanes. While talking to mediapersons,Vijay Bahadur,Divisional officer of Delhi Fire Service said that the building in which fire broke out has been damaged badly and the fire fighters would have to manually demolish the building to completely extinguish the fire.
