Militants issue ban on watching TV in Kashmir

Suspected Islamic rebels have ordered residents of Udhala village in Ramban district of Kashmir to stop watching television. Taking inspiration from the Taliban, suspected militants of Pakistan based Lashkar-e-Taiba outfit have imposed a ban on watching television, saying the networks were showing un-Islamic programmes.
