Mulayam 'manhandled' as he unveils Lohia's statue in UP

The unveiling of a statue of the late socialist leader Ram Manohar Lohia at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday witnessed literal physical tiff between the workers of regional Samajwadi Party and the mob of police personnel. So much so, even Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav had a scuffle with the police personnel who reportedly manhandled him when he tried to garland the statue of his political mentor Ram Manohar Lohia at a government hospital in the city.
