Mullaperiyar dam row: DMK begins day long fast

The Mullaperiyar dam row has intensified further. To condemn the Kerala Govt's adament attitude over the Mullaperiyar issue, the DMK will observe a day long fast all across the state on Monday. DMK chief Karunanidhi will, however, not take part in the fast due to health issues, but he will address the cadres around 5 pm this evening.
