Mumbai evidence now with Pak: India

Calling the Mumbai terrorist attacks a "conspiracy" formulated on Pakistani soil, India on Monday handed evidence to Pakistan that linked Pakistani militants to the Mumbai attacks and demanded prompt investigation. Speaking to media on Monday Foreign secretary Shiv Shankar Menon said that it is hard to believe that no Pakistani officials knew about preparations for the assault on Mumbai.
