NIS expels boxer Ram Singh in heroin case

The National Institute of Sports, Patiala has expelled boxer Ram Singh after he admitted taking contraband substance with Olympic bronze-medallist Vijender Singh. Super heavyweight pugilist Ram, a former National Championships medallist, confessed that he experimented with drugs along with Vijender, who has denied the allegations.
