No tax worse than inflation: Chidambaram

Expressing concern over inflation, Home Minister P Chidambaram observed that the government does not have any magic wand to control these trends but determined to check it on the food front. While addressing a conference 'FI Inclusion Day' hosted by the trade and industry in New Delhi on Wednesday Chidambaram said that it is the duty of the government to maintain price stability alongside correcting administrative prices of various commodities and allied materials.
