Normal life hampered in Darjeeling due to strike

Normal life was disrupted in Darjeeling hills as activists and supporters of Gorkha Janamukti Morcha called for an indefinite Bandh in Darjeeling from Monday. They are protesting against violent attack on their party workers at Panighata near Kurseong. They are also seeking the arrest of Rajen Mukhia, leader of the rival Gorkha National Liberation Front along with some senior police officials.
