NRI’s attend conference in Chandigarh

Hundreds of Non Resident Indians attended a conference on Friday in Chandigarh to address the issues concerning them. The day-long event called the "The Real NRI Conference" was attended by several Parliamentarians from the United Kingdom and Canada. The NRIs have been crying foul over several unaddressed NRI issues ever since the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal and Bhartiya Janata Party government organised a mega NRI conference in January this year.
