Omar threatens to quit over sex scandal allegations

Even as the ruckus continued for the second consecutive day on Tuesday in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah offered to quit following Opposition accusations of his involvement in a sex scandal. There was tumult in the assembly after Abdullah's announcement with members of his National Conference surrounding him and trying to prevent him from leaving to meet Governor NN Vohra.
