Over 1000 militants operating in Kashmir

Police in Indian Kashmir is on an alert to battle out militants from the region. According to a top police official, a large number of militants are present in the disputed area. Addressing media on the sidelines of a passing out parade, police Director General Kulkdeep Khuda said more than a 1000 militants were operating in the valley. However, he said that the police are all set to face any situation.
