Panchayat members resign after sarpanch’s killing in J & K

The panchayat heads in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir have tendered their resignations after suspected militants shot dead a deputy sarpanch in the district on September 23rd. Speaking to ANI, Mohammad Maqbool, a panchayat head said that he was frustrated by the government's indifferences.
