Parents endure pain of their baby with hydrocephalus

Doctors in Tripura fear it is too late to save a 16-month-old girl baby suffering from Hydrocephalus, an abnormal accumulation of fluid in the brain, resulting in triple size of the child's head. This unfortunate case of a child's ailment has been reported from a village named Jirania Khola in West Tripura. The child named, Runa Begum, was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, just weeks after her birth in the government-run hospital at this remote village.
