Petition against appointment of Lt. Gen Bikram Singh dismissed

The SC has dismissed a petition against appointment of Lieutenant General Bikram Singh as the next Army Chief. Singh is the Eastern Army Commander and is set to replace General VK Singh as chief of the army staff at the end of May this year.
