PM arrives in Myanmar

Prime minister Manmohan Singh has arrived in May Pyi Taw, the new capital of Myanmar, today on a three day visit, during which the two countries will chart out a roadmap and take initiatives to bolster relations in several areas, including energy, trade and connectivity. Dr Singh, who is the first Prime Minister to visit the country in 25 years, will hold talks with Myanmar President Thein Sein as well as democracy icon Aung San Suu Kyi during his trip.
