PM hopes for slum free India

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh expressed his hopes that India would soon become slum-free, just like other nations. Manmohan Singh, who said this while addressing his first public event in Chandigarh just within 12 hours of Gujarat strongman Narendra Modi's anointment as prime ministerial candidate, did not make any comment on the recent development in the BJP.
