PM Manmohan Singh calls for 9-10 percent growth rate

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday said that the country needs to grow by 9-10 per cent to move ahead and that industrialisation is a must to solve problems of unemployment. Meanwhile, PM also said that the Planning Commission would soon come out with a roadmap to reduce carbon emissions by the coal-based thermal steel furnaces, a major cause of pollution.
