Police gun down top Maoist commander in Jharkhand

Police gun down a top Maoist commander in a gun-battle in Gumla district of Jharkhand on Saturday. The police officials said that they received tip off saying that Guddu Oraon, the Sub-Zonal Commander of People's Liberation Front of India (PLFI) was seen near the Ryde police station. After receiving the information, a team of police personnel arrived on the spot and killed the dreaded ultra in an hour-long ambush.
