Police launch program to combat Maoists in Odisha

To effectively combat the left wing extremism and bridge the gap between the villagers and security personnel, police have launched a Civic Action Programme in the Maoist affected Bargarh district of Odisha. The district police in Padampur subdivision organised a cricket match with an aim to win confidence of the villagers.
