Police raid at Karmapa monastery, foreign currency recovered

Huge amount of foreign currency was seized during raids at a transit home of 17th Karmapa Ugyen Trinley Dorje at Sidhbari near Dharamsala on Thursday. Karmapa is the third most important leader in Tibetan hierarchy after Dalai Lama and Panchen Lama. The Karmapa was present in the monastery during the raid. Though the officials did not disclose the amount of the recovery but confirmed that a cash haul of foreign and Indian currency has been seized.Police raid at Karmapa monastery, foreign currency recovered
