Preps for Ganesh utsav in full swing

With Ganesh Chaturthi around the corner, markets in Mumbai are flooding with religious items such as colourful decorated idols, garlands, incense sticks, and decorated seats for the god. Artisans are busy preparing intricately designed idols of god Ganesh, ahead of the festival. Veena Masodhkar, a local shopping for the festival, said that her family started preparing for the festivities a month ahead of the festival.
