Previous year's drought was a setback to economy: PM

Hailing the national growth rate as encouraging vis-a-vis the global economic scenario, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh conceded that last year's drought had been a setback to the country's economy. He said this while releasing the latest book titled 'From Green to Evergreen Revolution - Indian Agriculture: Performance and Challenges' penned by the eminent agro-scientist Dr MS Swaminathan in New Delhi on Tuesday.
