Protesters call for arrest of Nandy over caste-insensitive remark

Gagged demonstrators protested outside the venue of the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF) calling for the arrest of sociologist Ashis Nandy for his remarks against members of the scheduled castes and tribes. A case has been registered against Nandy and his remarks have been termed as insensitive and inaccurate.
